2026 Special Envoys Program Details
June 23-27, 2026
The Special Envoys Summer Camp, held in June 2026, is a 7-day immersive learning experience for high school and early college students pursuing interests in international affairs, diplomacy, and global leadership. Throughout the week, participants visit embassies, international organizations, government agencies, and cultural institutions across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, gaining practical insight into foreign policy and cross-cultural collaboration.
Our mission is to inspire and equip the next generation of global leaders with the knowledge, confidence, and connections needed to pursue internationally focused careers. Help us shape your diplomatic adventure! Completing the Interest Form helps us learn about your passions, whether you’re most excited about climate action, human rights, global health, tech innovation, or international security. Your responses guide how we pair you with a nation or topic focus and customize mentor interactions and site visits. This is the first step toward becoming a global changemaker!

Orientation & Information Sessions
Kick off your Special Envoys experience! Join our Orientation & Information Session to meet the team, see the week’s agenda and important dates, learn how our professional-development training will prepare you for careers in diplomacy and global leadership. We’ll also further explain the application process, how the student interest form helps us match you with a nation or topic focus (climate, human rights, global health, tech, security, etc.) so your embassy visits, mentor pairings, and workshops are tailored to your goals. Student Sponsorship Packet — Resources to Help You Secure Funding
The Special Envoys Summer Camp opens doors to international learning and career pathways that may currently be out of reach, and we’re committed to helping students access them. If cost is a concern, review our Student Fundraising Packet for templates, tips, and a curated list of local and regional funding sources you can approach. The packet explains recommended documents, sample request letters, and best practices for reaching out to community organizations, employers, and local institutions that fund student opportunities.
